Although cars can be affecting the world positively by letting human travel long distance, it can also affect the world negatively. For example cars can affect the environment because of the oil contained in the car.

My Year Reflection

Reading

This year,  think I improved so much in reading. To be honest, I did not like reading in the beginning of the year. I felt like it was so boring! I couldn't read 20 minutes! But as soon as my teacher Ms.Greene started read aloud, I started getting interested in books. First she read a book Edward's Eyes then a book Wonder then Thief of Always then finally a book called Bliss. The most favorite one of mine is Wonder and Thief of Always. Also thanks to a friend that was so addicted to a book, Warriors and introduced it to the whole class it made me interested. Now I like reading any fantasy book especially Warriors and Harry Potter.

Writing

This year I learned Informational, Narrative, Persuasive and fantasy writing. I learned a lot in persuasive by writing both side of the topic. I also liked reading them, for example a argument essay about Donald Trump building the wall!  

Math

This year I believe I did improve in math. I enjoyed discussing and doing challenging problems with my friend. I did amazing in the beginning of the year on the MAP test. I am hoping I will do well in the MAP test 2017.

Science
This year I improved a lot in science. I especially improved on leading people in project we shared with our parents. We learned abut animals adapting to their biomes for example ermine adapt their fur to white in winter.

S.S.
This year I learned a lot about history of columbian change. I wrote about the food being transferred.
Now we are learning about world development. I am learning the transporting especially, history of cars and the effect to the air pollution.

Core Values
I believe I did well working with core values. I believe I had responsibility in field trip and the spring concert. I had perseverance by reading when I did not want to which was a good choice after all.

Most Challenging 
The most challenging thing for me was the drama this year. I did not have courage to act in front of people and that is the point of doing drama!

Most Enjoyable
The most enjoyable thing that happened this year was the kids day.

Most Proud Of
Obviously I am most proud of my reading because now I enjoy reading and I wish that the series
 will never end!

Introducing Social Sientist

Introducing this year's Nobel prize winner of Social Scientist, Sohgo Fujiwara for this fascinating and informative research for transportation, especially effect on the air between hybrid cars and the gas cars. Sohgo Fujiwara comes from Japan and his research skill is boss.

Essential Question:
How is science and technology changing the world? Past, present and future. Are these changes good? Why or why not?

I definitely think it have changed the world. Because past, they needed to take forever to sent a message. Present, we can sent a mail in a second! I believe in future it can be even faster.
Also in past there were to many works need to be done by humans. Present, technology took some job from humans like getting milk. In future I believe the technology is going to take over humans job.   

Here is the three topic that I am most interested in:

Transportation:    Transportation is effecting us by allowing us to travel far but have effected lots of traffic. Also hybrid cars effects few of global warming.

Impact on life:    Fast paced game [example: Call Of Duty] has impact on your brain because if you play them you can rapidly move or see or trace fast things then the people without playing them

Communication:    Communication have effected us because now we can trace other people or talk to far people with the antennas.

The most appealing topic to me is Transportation because I want to learn a lot about hybrid cars and polutions. The question that left me with is:
Now I understand that video games are good for you in a way but what about the the screen problem?
Doesn't the screen still make your eyes bad?

Wadi Field Trip

On March 13, 2017, us 5th grade went to Wadi Degla on a science field trip. First we walked to this place where we could eat. It was so fun eating with my friend!

Dr.Bill the geologist told us many facts about Wadi. For example he said it used to be filled with water, and different kinds of animals lived in wadi like megalodon? Well thinking about it, wadi's landform might be made out of water erosion. My thinking was right. Water erosion and weathering has effected the landforms which is all made by climate change. After awhile, he let us look for a fossil. I found a lot!        After we ate lunch. I brought sushi for my self but everyone took it from me. After we went hiking! It was high, fun and- scary... Anyway what my reflection was that I had lots of experience. It teach me a lot!

lots of delta and did not die. When without slope,

the delta died and made a new one but what I found

out was that without slope the water won't go that fast.

My thinking about how slope effects erosion:

With slope, It has the angle that makes the water go down. That means the water will go faster and make the landform effective and changed.

Without slope, It does not have angle so it is hard to slide the water down. That means the water goes slow and make the landform bit changed.

In this unit, we are going to learn more about wind and water Erosion. 

Harvey is kind of a character that is protagonist and have kindness. His strength is to be brave and the motivations are to Defeat the Mr.Hood, antagonist. His trait is to not get tricked easily and stand up for everything the antagonist did.

The elements you need to have in fantasy are magic and good vs evil. For example, In thief of always, the magic is the holiday house and good is harvey and evil is Mr.Hood, Rictus, carna, mars and drive.

The good is harvey and evil is Mr.Hood, Rictus, carna, mars and drive.

Harvey is good because he can face to evil with full of courage.

Mr.Hood and others looks bad there grins and weird looks.
